The Coinbase Australia September Trading Promotion is a promotion available to eligible Australia Coinbase users (see eligibility requirements below). The promotion starts on 22 September 2022, at 12:00 p.m. Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST), and ends on 20 October 2022, at 11:59 p.m. Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT).

Prizes
Tier 1: One (1) winner will receive A$50K in Bitcoin (BTC)
Tier 2: Five (5) winners will receive A$10K in BTC
Tier 3: Five hundred (500) winners will receive A$100 in BTC
Eligibility
Be a citizen of Australia (excluding Australian Capital Territory)
Be at least 18 years of age or older
Be an existing or new account holder
Make a buy or sell of A$50 or more of any cryptocurrency (crypto), inclusive of fees
Enter the promotion
You can enter the promotion by buying or selling A$50 of any crypto on the Coinbase mobile app or Coinbase.com. A maximum of ten entries may be earned.
If you don’t have a Coinbase.com account, you must create one and complete the identity verification process.
Trades can be cumulative trades, inclusive of transaction fees, during the promotion period. Trades made via Coinbase Advanced Trade are ineligible and will not earn a promotion entry.
Entry confirmation
Once you’ve successfully completed the entry requirements, you’ll receive a notification within 24 hours confirming your promotion entry from one of the following email addresses:
Check your junk/spam folder if you don’t see the email in your inbox.
Confirmation email not received
If you haven’t received a confirmation email, make sure that:
You’ve successfully completed all entry requirements listed above by 20 October 2022, at 11:59 p.m. AEDT
It’s been 24 hours since you completed the entry steps
The email confirmation from Coinbase isn’t in your junk/spam folder
If you have recurring buys set up and still haven’t received your confirmation email, make sure your recurring buys are still scheduled.
Confirming the promotion email or social media post legitimacy
Here are some tips to confirm that the Coinbase Australia Trading Promotion content is actually from Coinbase:
Coinbase will never ask you to send funds
Coinbase emails will always come from a Coinbase.com domain, such as [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], or [email protected]
The URL will direct you to Coinbase.com
Tier 1 and Tier 2 winner emails may give directions to upload completed documentation to a SendSafely portal link
If you encounter anything suspicious, please report it to [email protected]
Notifying winners
If you win, Coinbase will contact you directly from [email protected] or [email protected]
Potential winners are required to:
Respond to the notification email within 14 days
Complete an affidavit within 7 days
Agree to have their first name, last initial, and city published on the complete winners list
Potential winners become confirmed winners only after they complete all requirements.
