Sent to an email address
If you send funds to an email address linked to a Coinbase account, Coinbase considers the funds claimed, and you cannot recover them. If the recipient doesn’t have a Coinbase account and doesn't claim the crypto within 30 days, the funds will automatically be returned to you. If the transaction is Pending, you can try to cancel it.
Sent to a cryptocurrency address
Crypto transactions are final and cannot be canceled or reversed. If you send funds to the wrong address, contact the recipient directly and ask for their cooperation in returning the funds.
If you don’t know the address owner, it won’t be possible to recover the funds. To avoid mistakes, carefully double-check that the recipient’s crypto address is correct before sending.
