Requirements for successful deposits and withdrawals
ID must be verified before making a deposit.
The name on your bank account matches the legal name on your Coinbase account.
Your payment method is added and verified:
Your payment method is active and in good standing.
Your bank is located in a supported country
The currency of your transfer matches that of your Coinbase account
Include your unique reference in your deposit, if applicable.
Be aware that some banks may delay or cancel transactions involving digital currency.
Unable to locate a deposit
If your deposit is not in your cash balance, it could be due to the following reasons:
Your payment method details were not added to your Payment Methods.
Your transfer was sent via an intermediary bank.
Your deposit was sent from an unsupported country.
If your bank hasn't been approved for withdrawals, after a successful deposit, it could be due to the following reasons:
The account number on your deposit does not match the account number added on your account.
The deposit is missing an account number/IBAN.
European customers: Confirm the SEPA information for your bank shows the correct IBAN and BIC for the account you are sending funds from here. If it is not, restart the process to Add a payment method.
Unable to locate a withdrawal
If you’re unable to locate a cashout (withdrawal) from Coinbase in your bank account, confirm you’re checking the following when reviewing your transfer history:
Where the transfer was sent (your cash balance or linked payment method)
The full date range the transfer could complete in (date of cashout to seven business days after)
Your bank has not put a hold on this transfer
