Check the domain: Verify that the link is from coinbase.com or coinbase-consumer.sjv.io. Always make sure any link you open redirects to coinbase.com. Only sign up, or enter account information, on the coinbase.com domain.
Avoid suspicious requests: Coinbase affiliates may send you emails or other communications. They will never ask you for personal account details. If you receive an email, SMS or phone call requesting personal information, report it to Coinbase Support.
Protect credentials: Never share sign-in details, passwords, 2FA codes or recovery phrases.
