Emails from Coinbase aren't reaching you

Sometimes, you may not receive an email you're expecting from Coinbase, including automated emails like password resets, device confirmation, and ID verification, or emails from Coinbase Support.

When investigating these issues, our support team has found that the emails are sent from our system, so if you encounter this issue, try these things:

  • Check your spam and trash folders.

    • A quick Google search for "how to check my spam settings" should show you how to change these settings. Be sure to add your specific email provider (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.) in your search.

  • Review all of your folders, filters, and labels (e.g., Gmail's Social and Promotional labels/tabs) in case the email was moved out of the inbox.

  • Search for "@coinbase.com" in your email provider's search function, which should locate all emails from us, even if they've been directed to other folders.

  • Search for "New Device Confirmation" in the subject line if it's a device confirmation email you're expecting.

  • Add @coinbase.com to your contacts list and the Safe Senders list in your email settings (if applicable).

  • Contact your email provider to find out what's happening to incoming emails from @coinbase.com. There may be an issue that needs to be sorted out with the provider.

Note: If you're using an email program like Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird, you may need to access the account from a browser on your computer to change the email settings.

If you receive an email but the link or code isn't working, make sure your device is confirmed.
