Here's what you need to know about billing and payments for Wallet as a Service (WaaS).
Free trial and billing
If you're on a free trial, you must upgrade your project in the Cloud platform by adding payment information by August 15, 2023, otherwise you'll lose access to the service.
Project credit-card requirements
A credit card is required to create a new project and use WaaS at this time. It's not possible to create a project and add a credit card later.
Currency for charges
All payments are processed in USD (United States Dollars).
Update payment method
To change the credit card on file for billing, follow these steps:
Go to your project settings and select the billing tab.
Under the payment method, select Update card.
On the first of each month, Stripe (our payment partner) will charge the credit card on file for the prior month's usage based on the number of wallets created.
Access to billing information
Only Owners and Admins have access to the billing information for the organization. If you don't have access and need billing information, reach out to the Owner or Admin users within your organization.
Dispute a charge
If you need to dispute a charge, contact [email protected] so we can work through the issue together.
Cancellations and billing
For pay-as-you-go services, such as WaaS, billing is not prorated. Customers who cancel mid-month will be invoiced for the full monthly price of their WaaS pay-as-you-go plan. Customers pay the same unit price for a wallet regardless of the day of the month it was created.
For subscriptions, billing is prorated. Customers will receive a prorated charge based on which day of the month they cancel on.
