How does the challenge work?
Once you message ‘gm’ to onchainsummer.eth on Coinbase Wallet, we’ll airdrop you a special “Based” NFT. As you mint more eligible NFTs on Base, your NFT will evolve to new levels! We'll send you a curated list of popular, eligible mints on Base based on your minting activity.
How do I know what to mint?
Once you start the game, you’ll get a few mint recommendations. Right after you mint an eligible collection, you’ll get more curated recommendations. There is a full list of eligible mints below.
How does my NFT evolve?
Your NFT can evolve up to 6 times. The levels are: Based Beginner, Onchain Operator, NFT Ninja, Mint Mastermind, JPEG Juggler, and FULLY BASED. Each level has unique art.
When does the challenge end?
The challenge ends September 8 on 11:59 PM EST.
How do I get ETH on Base?
On Coinbase Wallet, you have two options.
Option 1: Buy ETH on Base
Select the Buy on the home screen, then choose Ethereum as the asset. Enter the amount you wish to buy and select your payment method.
On the preview page, switch the network from Ethereum to Base, and select confirm. Your ETH will arrive in your Coinbase Wallet account shortly after.
Option 2: Bridge ETH to Base
If you already have ETH on the Ethereum network, you can bridge it over to Base. Select the Bridge button on the home screen, select Base as your destination network, and enter the amount you want to bridge. Review your transaction and select confirm to bridge.
What mints count toward my progress?
Eligible mints are listed below. Up to one mint per collection counts towards your score - i.e, if you mint 10 NFTs from the same collection, that counts as one mint.
I minted but didn't receive a message. What should I do?
You should receive a message within a few minutes of minting an eligible NFT. If you don’t, send a ‘gm’ message and verify the collection is on the eligible mints list.
Can I transfer or trade my NFT?
Your NFT is a soulbound token, meaning it is non-transferable (can't send or sell) and you can only hold 1.
