Taxes for Singapore customers

Singapore imposes a goods and services tax (GST) on any fees when you buy, sell, or engage in crypto-to-crypto transactions (convert). Coinbase will pay the GST to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).

The GST amount will be shared with you in your transaction information.

Note

The GST rate will increase to 8% on January 1, 2023.
