With Coinbase Card, US residents (excluding Hawaii) can spend crypto and US dollars wherever Visa Cards are accepted. It can be used for cash and crypto transactions.
There’s no application fee or credit check during the application process.
Eligible users can earn rewards by using the Coinbase Card for spending. The more you use it, the more rewards you accumulate over time.
Eligibility
To be eligible for Coinbase Card in the US:
Reside in the US (excluding Hawaii)
Have a valid Coinbase account
Complete identity verification during the application process
We may need to collect your Social Security Number, Form W2, and other identifying documents to comply with financial regulations.

Apply
To apply through Coinbase.com or the Coinbase mobile app:
Sign in to your Coinbase.com account or access the Coinbase mobile app.
Select Card from the navigation bar.
Follow the prompts to apply for your Coinbase Card.
You'll be asked to verify your address, agree to legal disclosures, and select a currency to earn rewards.
Once you sign up, you'll be able to use your virtual card right away or order a physical card to use in person or at an ATM.
Delivery
If you'd like to order a physical card via the Coinbase mobile app, you'll be asked to verify your information as well as set up your PIN. Once completed, you’ll receive your physical card in 2-3 weeks. In the meantime, you can start using your virtual card in the Coinbase mobile app.
If you have not received your Coinbase Card 3 weeks after applying or a notification of it's expected arrival, please request to have a new card sent to you by following the directions under the Request a new card section of the Manage your Coinbase Card article.
Coinbase Card will be available in all US states except Hawaii. We are always working to bring our services to all our users.
Crypto rewards is an optional Coinbase offer. Rewards are only available to Card users in the US. Reward rate is variable. Check your app for the most updated rate.

Coinbase will automatically convert all cryptocurrency to US Dollars for use in purchases and ATM withdrawals.
All fees are disclosed in the Cardholder Agreement and User Agreement. There are no Coinbase transaction fees but a spread applies when we buy, sell, or trade cryptocurrencies.

Important information for opening a Card account: To help the federal government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, the USA PATRIOT Act requires all financial institutions and their third parties to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens a Card account. What this means for you: When you open a Card account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
