Coinbase does not currently support Binance Chain (BEP-2) because it is a separate blockchain that is not integrated with our platform. BEP-2 is a blockchain created by Binance specifically for their customers to send assets quicker. Any deposits sent from the Binance Chain into a Coinbase account will not be credited and your funds will be lost.

For example, we support ERC20 tokens like USD Coin (USDC) on the Ethereum network. If you send USDC on the BEP-2 chain to Coinbase, you will lose your funds because it’s on a separate network.

How do I check if my assets are supported Ethereum ERC20 tokens on Binance’s platform?

If Etherscan opens when you select the Block Explorer link on the send confirmation page, then it is a supported Ethereum ERC20 token and you can send your funds to your Coinbase account.
