Regain access to your web3 wallet

Your web3 wallet is mobile-device-specific. If you lose access to the mobile device used when creating your web3 wallet, you must verify your identity to access it on a new device.

Good to know

You must complete this process on the mobile device you intend to use going forward
You must be able to sign in to your Coinbase.com account
You must complete identity verification

To regain access to your web3 wallet:

On your new mobile device, access the Coinbase mobile app.
Sign in to your account.
Select then choose Web3 wallet.
A window will appear prompting you to upload your identity document (ID).
Follow the remaining prompts to verify your identity.
An identity verification confirmation email will be sent within 48 hours.
