If you are unable to access your Coinbase Wallet account, you will need to take one of the following steps to recover it.
If you no longer have access to your Coinbase Wallet PIN:
Sign out of your Coinbase Wallet account and re-import your wallet using your 12-word recovery phrase or Google Drive/iCloud backup. You can do this by opening the app and selecting “I already have a wallet.”
If you’re unable to sign out of the account, we recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the Coinbase Wallet app.
For biometric verification issues:
If you recently changed the fingerprint(s) used for your device’s biometric verification, your updated credentials may no longer work with your account. Please follow the above steps to reimport your wallet.
If you simply need to recover access to your account:
Open the Coinbase Wallet app.
Select “I already have a wallet” then “Restore with recovery phrase.”
If you no longer have access to your recovery phrase, you will need to create a new account.
Please note: Coinbase Wallet is a user-controlled, non-custodial product. The recovery phrase is what gives you, and only you, access to move funds that you have received.
For your security, Coinbase Wallet will never have access to this seed, meaning that we are unable to move funds on your behalf.
