Utilizing Dynamic Fee Mode and Transaction Simulation Refresh on Prime Web3 Wallet

Dynamic Fee Mode & Transaction Simulation Refresh helps to ensure that transactions are current and appropriately fee-adjusted, reducing delays and failures. In the event your transaction is stuck please see this article to resolve.

Prime has introduced two new features to enhance your Web3 Wallet transaction experience:

  1. Dynamic Fee Mode: This feature updates the transaction fee before signing to ensure your transaction is broadcasted in a timely manner.

  2. Transaction Simulation Refresh: Before you sign a transaction, the Web3 signer refreshes the transaction simulation. This process estimates asset changes, confirms the transaction's validity, and highlights the risk of expiration or on-chain failure.

These features are configured by default. When initiating a transaction, the Dynamic Fee Mode is pre-selected. All transactions require the Web3 Signer to prepare them for signing, which includes refreshing the transaction simulation.

The Web3 Signer reviews the updated network fee when preparing the transaction for signing. This process includes an estimated asset change refresh, indicating the transaction's validity and likelihood of reverting.

Transactions may expire due to specific time or parameter constraints, such as price movements. If a transaction is likely to revert, a warning message will be shown to the signer to prevent unnecessary signing and broadcasting of a transaction that will fail on-chain.
