Coinbase Wallet

Supported assets and networks

  • On February 20th, 2023, Coinbase Wallet discontinued support for the following assets and networks due to low usage: BCH, ETC, XLM and XRP.

    • If you held these assets, they will still be tied to your address(es) and accessible through your Coinbase Wallet recovery phrase.

    • To view or transfer these assets after February 20th, 2023, you will need to import your recovery phrase on another non-custodial wallet provider that supports these networks. To learn more, visit our help article: Moving unsupported assets.

    • This does not affect support of these assets on Coinbase.com or the Coinbase mobile app.

  • Coinbase Wallet can only store supported cryptocurrencies and access dapps on supported networks.

  • Verify that Coinbase Wallet supports the network you are receiving assets from, otherwise you won’t be able to access the assets.

  • Sending or receiving unsupported assets through Coinbase Wallet will cause you to lose them.

Supported networks on Coinbase Wallet

Coinbase Wallet supports Ethereum, Solana, and all EVM-compatible networks in both the mobile app and browser extension. Coinbase Wallet comes with the following networks already configured, however you can add other EVM-compatible networks manually as well:

  • Arbitrum

  • Avalanche C-Chain

  • Base

  • BNB Chain

  • Gnosis Chain

  • Fantom Opera

  • Optimism

  • Polygon

  • Solana

In addition to supporting Ethereum and all EVM-compatible networks, the mobile app also supports Bitcoin, Dogecoin and Litecoin.

Supported assets on Coinbase Wallet

Coinbase Wallet supports thousands of tokens, including all ERC-20 tokens and all tokens on EVM-compatible chains, such as Avalanche C-Chain and Polygon.

This includes stablecoins (like USDC and DAI) on all of Coinbase Wallet’s supported networks. Coinbase Wallet also supports tokens hosted on the Solana Network.

View supported assets on the Coinbase Wallet mobile app

To see all the supported ERC-20 tokens you can send and receive:

  1. Open the Coinbase Wallet mobile app and tap Receive

  2. Use the search bar to find a specific asset.

  3. Make sure you choose the correct asset before using the corresponding wallet address.

Note that BTC and DOGE all have different addresses than your primary Ethereum and EVM-compatible address.

Assets available for crypto-to-crypto trading

Currently, Coinbase Wallet’s in-app DEX (decentralized exchange) integration for both the mobile app and browser extension supports assets hosted on the BNB Chain, Ethereum blockchain, Avalanche C-Chain, and Polygon network. So, only BNB Chain, Ethereum, Avalanche C-Chain, and Polygon-based assets are available for crypto-to-crypto conversions at this time.
