Perpetual futures are futures contracts with no expiry date that seek to replicate the performance of an underlying spot asset.
Web and mobile: Perpetual futures trading is available on web and mobile. To access perpetual futures, go to the home page and find a perpetual market.

Eligibility: Coinbase complies with local regulations around crypto derivatives, so perpetual futures trading is only available to customers in select regions outside the United States.

During the signup process, you’ll answer a series of questions. Our license to operate our international exchange with the Bermuda Monetary Authority and to offer perpetual futures requires us to meet certain customer KYC and suitability standards.

If you are in an eligible region outside the US:
Access the perpetual futures market pages by signing in to your Coinbase account and selecting Perpetual futures.
Follow the onboarding prompts.
Buy and/or transfer USDC or eligible collateral to your Perpetuals portfolio.
If you’re not currently in an eligible region, follow @coinbase on X and we'll announce any expanded access.
