Before closing your Global Derivatives account, cancel all open orders, close all open positions, and transfer out your remaining funds. Your Global Derivatives portfolio balance must be $0 before you proceed.
To close your Global Derivatives account:
Sign in to your Coinbase account using a browser (this can't be done in the Coinbase app).
Select your profile icon, then your name.
Choose the Close account tab.
Select Close derivatives account and follow the prompts.
You'll see a notification confirming that your closure request has been submitted. Once your Global Derivatives account is closed, you can no longer trade through that account. Closing your Global Derivatives account does not close your main Coinbase account.
