Coinbase Advanced fee upgrade incentive

VIP customers from other crypto exchanges have the opportunity to fast-track to lower fees on Coinbase Advanced through this limited time incentive. This offer is valid for requests received between November 22, 2023 and June 30, 2024.

To be considered for this promotion, please complete a request for a fee upgrade. You'll be notified via email if your request is approved.

Required information

• Proof of last 30 days’ spot trading volume on an eligible third-party exchange. 

  • It must clearly identify your full name, email, and current VIP status. 

  •  Make sure you don’t upload any sensitive information when providing proof.

• Please allow up to 7 business days for a response and for your account to be upgraded.

• Last 30 days’ spot trading volume must be no less than $500K (USD) in volume (excluding stablecoin pairs).

Promotion terms and conditions

1. If you meet the eligibility criteria, your account will be upgraded to a pricing tier on Coinbase Advanced (the “Matched Fee Tier”) that is one level above the equivalent tier (as determined by Coinbase in its sole discretion) you are eligible for on the third-party exchange based on the proof that you provide. Your account will remain on the Matched Fee Tier for a period of 60 days.

2.  A list of eligible third-party exchanges that we match to is provided below.

3. Not eligible:

   • This offer is not valid for customers who have participated in the fee upgrade program within the last one year.

   • Customers who hold a VIP status on a third-party exchange because of a trial, or whose VIP status is based on factors other than their spot trading volume on the third-party exchange are not eligible.

4. To request an upgrade to a Matched Fee Tier, a participant must be a customer of Coinbase.com and hold an active account with an eligible third-party crypto exchange at the time the upgrade is requested.

5. Coinbase reserves the right to request additional documentation from participants to determine their eligibility for this promotion.

6. Coinbase reserves the right to rescind any fee upgrade granted, if during the course of an audit or investigation Coinbase determines that an individual is in violation of the promotion rules.

7. The Matched Fee Tier will expire after 60 days, unless the customer has met the applicable 30-day volume criteria for the Matched Fee Tier (or higher) as set out here prior to the expiry of the 60 days.

8. Offer is only valid on Coinbase Advanced spot markets.

Additional terms and conditions

2. Coinbase reserves the right to revoke any offer at its sole discretion.

3. Coinbase reserves the right to change the Terms, eligibility criteria, and payouts for all offers at any time, for any reason.

4. Coinbase reserves the right to exclude any participants from this offer. Coinbase employees are not eligible to participate.

5. Coinbase reserves the right to interpret these Terms at its sole discretion.

6. Void where prohibited or if Coinbase determines that the customer is not eligible for the offer.

7. This program is subject to and governed by the Coinbase User Agreement and the terms included on this page (collectively, the "Terms").

8. Available in select territories only.

9. Coinbase Advanced Fees are subject to change.
