How to turn on/off address whitelisting (Allowlisting)?

Address whitelisting is an optional security feature that allows crypto withdrawals to only be sent to verified addresses stored in the Address Book. On Coinbase International Exchange, this feature is referred to as "Allowlisting".

To enable or disable whitelisting your Address Book:

1. Sign into Coinbase International Exchange

2. Click on the "Accounts" tab on the left navigation bar

3. Toggle “Allowlisting” to enable/disable Address Book whitelisting

Activation Period

The 24-hour activation period exists for security purposes when making changes to the whitelisting settings.

• When enabling Allowlisting: No activation period 

• When disabling Allowlisting: 24-hour activation period exists before Allowlisting is fully disabled.
