Coinbase, individually, and in certain instances with Circle, supports a variety of USDC-related initiatives. These initiatives are spread across various platforms including Coinbase and other centralized and decentralized exchanges, web3 dApps, and onchain protocols. For example, we provide incentives to certain market makers and other market participants to trade in USDC-denominated trading pairs. We also offer incentives to certain market participants for minting USDC. Pursuant to an agreement with Circle, Coinbase receives revenue based on the amount of USDC held on its platform and third party platforms.
