MagicSpend, also known as Pay with Coinbase, allows smart wallet users to spend funds directly from their connected Coinbase accounts without holding funds in their wallet. This lets users complete their transaction in fewer steps without the concern of insufficient funds in their smart wallet.
You can enable MagicSpend by linking your Coinbase account before or during a transaction.
Before a transaction
Go to keys.coinbase.com/settings and select Connect next to Pay with Coinbase.
Connect your Coinbase account by signing in with your account credentials.
During a transaction
When making a transaction, select Choose method in the Pay with field.
Choose Pay with Coinbase.
Sign in to your Coinbase account with your account credentials to finish linking your account.
Once your account is linked, you can use it to fund your smart wallet transactions by selecting Pay with Coinbase as the payment method.
