Add a payment method for Singapore customers

You can add a debit card and/or bank account to your Singapore Coinbase.com account as a payment method. You can add a bank account using FAST (SGD) or SWIFT (USD).

Using a debit card to buy cryptocurrency (crypto) doesn’t require pre-funding a balance but using your bank account does.

Add a debit card

Coinbase mobile app

To add debit card:

Access the Coinbase mobile app.
Select then choose Profile & Settings.
Select Add a payment method.
Select Debit Card.
Enter your billing address.
Enter your card information.
You’ll see your debit card added to your list of payment methods.

Coinbase.com (web browser)

To add a debit card:

Sign in to your Coinbase.com account.
Select then choose My preferences.
Select the Payment methods tab.
Select Add a payment method.
Select Credit/Debit Card.
Enter your billing address.
Enter your card information.
You’ll see your debit card added to your list of payment methods.

Add an SGD bank account

Deposit funds into your SGD wallet on Coinbase from your bank account using FAST or PayNow
A successful deposit using FAST will also verify your bank account
Deposits must be from a bank account in your name
We currently don't accept transfers from third-parties like Wise, Revolut, GrabPay, or GovWallets
Your first deposit may take up to 24 hours to complete due to your bank’s security measures

Coinbase mobile app

To add a bank account:

Access the Coinbase mobile app.
Select then choose Profile & Settings.
Select Add a payment method.
Select FAST account.
Follow the instructions listed to make a deposit using FAST or PayNow then select Ok.

To add a bank account account:

Sign in to your Coinbase.com account.
Select then choose My preferences.
Select the Payment methods tab.
Select Add a payment method.
Select Bank account.
Follow the instructions listed to make a deposit using FAST or PayNow then select Ok.

Note

FAST deposit instructions (including bank account number) are unique to your Coinbase account. There is no need for a transaction reference.
FAST deposits must be from a bank account in your name. We currently don't accept transfers from third parties like Wise, Revolut, Google Pay or GrabPay.
PayNow deposits require a transaction reference. This should be auto-filled for you when you scan/load the QR code with a compatible banking app.

Add a USD bank account

Before you move on

Deposit funds into your USD balance on Coinbase from your bank account using SWIFT
A successful deposit will also verify your bank account
Deposits must be from a bank account in your name
International USD wires may take up to 3-4 business days to complete

Note

SWIFT (USD) deposit instructions (including bank account number) are unique to your Coinbase account. There is no need for a transaction reference.
There are no fees to deposit USD into your Coinbase account. Your bank may charge a wire and/or currency conversion fee.
