How it works

  1. Sign up at coinbase.com.
  2. Complete photo identity verification by uploading a photo of your driver’s license or identification card.
  3. Once your photo ID is successfully verified, you will receive the $5 Bitcoin reward in your Portfolio within 7 days.

Am I eligible for the new user incentive?

  • You must complete all photo identity verification steps
  • You must be a resident of the 50 United States or Washington DC (excludes Hawaii). 
  • This offer cannot be combined with other offers through referral links.
  • Your account must be unique *

How do I know this email or social media post about the Coinbase new user incentive is legitimate?

  • Coinbase will never ask you to send funds.
  • Coinbase emails will always come from [email protected].
