View and change your billing plan or tier
Sign in to your Coinbase account.
On the mobile app, select the Menu icon, then Coinbase One. On a browser, select Coinbase One in the navigation bar.
Select Manage to view your plan (monthly or annual) and tier.
Choose Tier to view plan options.
To change your plan or tier, select a different option and follow the prompts to confirm.
Changing from monthly to annual starts the new subscription immediately. Changing from annual to monthly starts the new subscription at the end of your current billing period.
All Coinbase One plans renew automatically at the start of a new billing period. For plans of 12 months or longer, we’ll send an auto-renewal reminder email 30 days before renewal.
Pause your subscription
You may be able to pause your subscription for one month.
Sign in to your Coinbase account.
On the mobile app, select the Menu icon and choose Coinbase One. On a browser, select Coinbase One in the navigation bar.
Select Manage and choose Pause.
You won't be billed for Coinbase One during the pause period.
Note: Pausing your subscription will also pause subscription benefits. Preferred and premium members will still have access to 24/7 priority support.
You can reactivate or cancel your subscription at any time during the one-month pause. Subscriptions and billing will automatically resume after the pause period has ended if you don’t cancel the subscription.
Reactivate your subscription
You can reactivate your subscription before the end of your billing cycle.
Sign in to your Coinbase account.
On the mobile app, select the Menu icon and choose Coinbase One. On a browser, select Coinbase One in the navigation bar.
Select Manage, then choose Resume.
Cancel your subscription
If you cancel, you’ll have access to your subscription benefits until the end of your billing cycle.
Sign in to your Coinbase account.
On the mobile app, select the Menu icon and choose Coinbase One. On a browser, select Coinbase One in the navigation bar.
Select Manage, then choose Cancel membership.
Refunds for canceled subscriptions
We do not offer refunds for annual premium plans. However, you’ll retain access to all subscription perks until the end of your current billing cycle.
Refunds may be considered in select situations if you haven’t received one before. Refunds are only eligible if you traded less than $100 (Preferred and Premium) or $25 (Basic) during the current billing cycle and your payment has successfully cleared.
If your payment is complete, please allow up to 8 days for it to clear before requesting a refund. Please do not contact support before this time as they will be unable to process a refund.
Full refunds aren’t available for active Coinbase One Card holders. Partial refunds may be considered in select cases.
To check if your payment is still pending or complete, follow these steps:
Sign in to your Coinbase account.
On the mobile app, select the Menu icon and choose Coinbase One. On a browser, select Coinbase One in the navigation bar.
Select Manage.
Check your invoice within Billing history.
Pending payments will display as queued under Status.
Paying for Coinbase One
There are several options to pay for a Coinbase One subscription, or cover late payments:
Debit cards
PayPal (US and EU)
ACH (US only)
3DS
Fiat wallet (USD, EUR, GBP)
Crypto balances
If the primary payment method fails, the backup payment option will be charged. If crypto is the backup payment on file, Coinbase will first charge stablecoins, and if there are no stablecoins, Coinbase will use the asset with the most funds first. You can opt-out of crypto backup payments from your Coinbase One account, but all new sign-ups are automatically enrolled.
The grace period for missed subscription payments is 14 days. Coinbase will auto-debit the elected payment method at the close of the grace window.
