Over the next 10 months, customers in the UK, Switzerland, and a few other countries will receive a mail and push notification requesting additional information in line with the local regulatory requirements. This ensures Coinbase is compliant and helps keep Coinbase a safe place for investments.
After receiving the notification, you’ll have 30 - 90 days to provide the requested information. It should only take about 5 minutes to provide the information.
During this process, you’ll maintain access to your funds. If the information is not provided in the timeline specified, Coinbase will restrict your ability to buy, sell, deposit, and receive crypto. Once you've provided the documents and met the regulatory requirements, we'll restore your access.
