View prediction market balances and transactions

Use the prediction markets portfolio page to view your profit and loss (PnL), contracts for open market events, and payout transaction details.

Note: Prediction markets are available to U.S. residents only, excluding Nevada. Traveling abroad does not affect access.

Predictions section

This section provides a snapshot of the sum of your unrealized and realized PnL.

Mobile app

To view your PnL snapshot:

  1. Sign in to your Coinbase.com account.

  2. On the Home tab, go to the Predictions section and select the inline arrow.

  3. At the top of the page, under Predictions, there are two amounts:

    • Top amount: Sum of current unrealized PnL and daily realized PnL.

    • Bottom amount: Sum of daily realized PnL which may not include the current day’s amount.

To view your PnL snapshot:

  1. Sign in to your Coinbase.com account.

  2. On the Home tab, go to the Predictions section and select the inline arrow.

  3. At the top of the page, under Predictions, there are two amounts:

    • Bottom amount: Sum of daily realized PnL which may not include the current day’s amount.

Balances section

The Balances section provides metrics for your contract purchases for open events.

Mobile app

To view your contract metrics:

  1. Sign in to your Coinbase.com account.

  2. On the Home tab, locate the Predictions section and select the inline arrow.

  3. Locate the Balances section and select a metric from the filter dropdown menu. Details reflected are based on your selected outcome. Available metrics are defined below.

    • Open return: Default filter showing all contract purchases for open events with your potential earnings and overall PnL.

    • Balance: Total potential earnings, amount of contracts purchased, and the selected outcome.

    • Current odds: Total potential earnings, odds percentage that your selected outcome is correct, and the increase or decrease of your odds.

    • Payout if correct: Potential aggregate payout.

  4. Select any position line item for more details such as status, market, outcome choice, potential payout, number of contracts purchased, average fill price, profit, and payment method.

  2. On the Home tab, locate the Predictions section and select the inline arrow.

  3. Locate the Transactions section. Each line item reflects your payout and number of shares purchased/owned.

  4. Select any transaction line item for more details such as status, market, outcome choice, payout, number of contracts owned, fill price, profit, and payment method.

To view your payout details:
