Hide balance in the Coinbase app

Hide balance (formerly Privacy mode) lets you conceal your portfolio balances in the Coinbase app by replacing them with asterisks (*****) or dots. 

Hide or unhide your balance

1. Sign in to the Coinbase app. 

2. Do one of the following:

   • From the Home screen: Long-press your portfolio balance to hide or show it.

   • From settings: Select Settings, then Appearance, and toggle Hide balance on or off.

Note: Hide balance is only available in the Coinbase app. It’s not supported on Coinbase.com.
