Direct mail from Coinbase

To connect with customers and provide additional promotions, Coinbase will at times send physical mail to your address on file.

Direct mail from Coinbase will include our logo and branding. The mailing may provide information about new features or promotional offers.

Coinbase will never ask for sensitive information like passwords or bank details, or request remote access to your computer, through physical mail.

If you receive direct mail claiming to be from Coinbase asking for sensitive details, it’s not legitimate.

You can verify direct mail legitimacy by:

  • Ensuring any URLs listed in the mailer will always direct you to the Coinbase.com site, or app, never a third party location.

  • Verifying the return address printed on the mailing as:

    • 248 3rd St, #434
      Oakland, CA 94607

  • Visiting Coinbase’s Help Center for the latest communications

If you have questions about Coinbase direct mail or help verifying the legitimacy of a piece of mail, please contact our support team for assistance. Your privacy and security are a top priority.
