Coinbase One credit card transaction disputes and declines

This article refers to the Coinbase One credit card. For the debit card, see Coinbase Card-Debit card overview.

Dispute charges

Dispute a charge:

You can dispute charges in your Coinbase mobile app.

  1. From the Coinbase mobile app, select Credit Card.

  2. From the transaction history, select the transaction you’d like to dispute.

  3. Choose Report an issue.

  4. Follow the prompts to dispute the transaction.

  5. We may ask you for additional information while the investigation is underway.

  6. While the dispute is underway, you’ll be issued a provisional credit. You won’t have to pay the disputed amount while the investigation is ongoing, and no interest or fees will accrue on the transaction.

    • Note: You’re still responsible for keeping up with payments on your undisputed balance.

  7. A dispute may take up to 2 complete billing cycles (but no more than 90 days) to be resolved.

    • If your dispute is successful, a dispute credit will be issued to you and appear on your transactions list.

    • If your dispute is rejected, the dispute credit will be removed and you will be responsible for the disputed amount and any associated interest and fees.

  8. Monitor your email for updates.

Please contact our card specialists at 1 (855) 508-5066 if you have questions about payments, interest charges, refunds, or fees, or you have trouble disputing a charge.
