At Coinbase Prime, we are committed to providing you with seamless and transparent financial services. As a valued user, you will receive a monthly invoice at the beginning of each month for your Vault (Custody) transactions. To keep you informed, we will notify you of any outstanding invoices via email and display alerts on the Prime platform. You can easily manage and access all your invoices directly within your Prime account.

Monthly invoices can be pulled directly from the Prime platform by authorized account users. You can take the following steps to access your invoice:

  2. Select Settings from the left-hand menu and navigate to the Billing tab

  3. Under Invoices tab you can find Total Balance due and download specific invoice as PDF

Paying your invoice

Invoices are issued on a monthly basis and should be paid according to the terms outlined in your Prime Brokerage Agreement. You have two options for paying invoices: Wire Transfer or Auto Pay

Auto Pay

By enabling Auto Pay, your monthly invoice will be automatically debited from either your selected trading wallet or vault wallet.

If using a trading or vault wallet, the deduction will be made on the invoice due date or the next available business day, adhering to the net-payment terms detailed in your PBA agreement.

  • If the selected wallet does not have sufficient funds, the payment will be debited once the wallet is funded.

  • If there are multiple outstanding invoices, we will debit one invoice per day, processing the oldest invoice first

If you elect to make payments with digital assets, please note that the payment will be treated as a disposition and subject to U.S. tax reporting on Form 1099-DA. For more information on IRS Form 1099-DA and related changes to the U.S. tax information reporting rules for digital assets, please see our Help Center article.
