Importing your smart wallet to Coinbase Wallet allows you to view your token and crypto balances in one place, send assets between your connected wallets, and access dapps through Coinbase Wallet.
This is currently available only on iOS/Apple devices.
Import using a passkey
If your passkey is on your device:
Access Coinbase Wallet.
Tap your avatar to open the wallet switcher.
Select Add Wallet.
Select Import Wallet.
Select Import Passkey.
Read the scam safety warning and confirm each statement before continuing.
Select On This Device.
Select the passkey used to sign in to your smart wallet and select Continue.
If your passkey isn’t accepted, make sure it’s entered correctly and hasn’t expired. Re-enter the information and try again.
If your passkey is on another device:
Access Coinbase Wallet.
Tap your avatar to open the wallet switcher.
Select Add Wallet.
Select Import Wallet.
Select Import Passkey.
Read the scam safety warning and confirm each statement before continuing.
Select On Another Device.
Follow the instructions to import using a QR code. Scan the QR code in a well-lit environment, maintaining alignment within the camera frame. If issues occur, regenerate the QR code.
Your smart wallet is now imported. Importing a passkey imports all wallets linked to that passkey's associated email or social account. You can buy, swap, or cash out crypto, or use it as you would any other wallet in your Coinbase Wallet.
Import using a recovery phrase
Access Coinbase Wallet.
Tap your avatar to open the wallet switcher.
Select Add Wallet.
Select Import Wallet.
Select Import Recovery Phrase.
Read the scam safety warning and confirm each statement before continuing.
Enter your 12-word recovery phrase in the correct order.
Select Import.
Your wallet is imported and added to the wallet list. If the same recovery phrase is linked to multiple wallets, all associated wallets are imported. Importing a large number of wallets may take several minutes to complete.
