Change your address or country

You can update your address, state, or country information on your profile at any time.

Before you change your information

Changing your address information can only be done on Coinbase.com (web browser), not the mobile app
Changing your country information requires identity verification
Changing your country information may affect your ability to buy cryptocurrency as buying is not available in all regions
You must withdraw your full local currency balance (primary balance) before verifying your identity (if applicable)

Change your address

To change your address:

Sign in to your Coinbase account.
Select and choose Manage your profile.
Select Address and input your changes.
Select Save.

Change your country

Tip

Use your mobile device to upload your identification document. We'll send a link to your mobile device to make this possible.

To change your country:

Sign in to your Coinbase account.
Select and choose Manage your profile.
Select Change in the country field.
Follow the instructions on-screen.
Once your identity is verified, the change you made will show on your profile.
