Add cash to your balance for Singapore customers

USD bank accounts (SWIFT) are available for customers in Singapore, Philippines, Hong Kong, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates and Taiwan.

You can add cash to your Singapore Dollar (SGD) balance from your bank account using FAST / PayNow and United States Dollar (USD) balance from your bank account using SWIFT. Your initial deposit is made when you add your bank account to your Coinbase account. The initial deposit links and verifies your bank account.

Note

  • FAST deposit instructions (including bank account number) are unique to your Coinbase account. There is no need for a transaction reference.

  • FAST deposits must be from a bank account in your name. We currently don't accept transfers from third parties like Wise, Revolut, Google Pay or GrabPay.

  • PayNow deposits require a transaction reference. This should be auto-filled for you when you scan/load the QR code with a compatible banking app.

Deposit SGD to your balance on Coinbase.com (web browser):

  1. Sign in to your Coinbase.com account.

  2. Select Assets in the navigation bar.

  3. Select Singapore Dollar from your assets list.

  4. Select Add cash.

  5. Follow the instructions listed to make a deposit using FAST then select Ok.

  6. You’ll see a confirmation once you make a successful transfer.

Deposit SGD to your balance on Coinbase mobile app:

  1. Access the Coinbase mobile app.

  2. Select My assets in the bottom navigation bar.

  3. Select Singapore Dollar from your assets list (you may have to select See all if you have multiple assets).

  4. Select Add cash.

  5. Follow the instructions listed to make a deposit using FAST then select Ok.

  6. You’ll see a confirmation once you make a successful transfer.

Before you add USD

  • SWIFT (USD) deposit instructions (including bank account number) are unique to your Coinbase account. There's no need for a transaction reference.

  • USD deposits must be from a bank account in your name. 

  • There are no fees to deposit USD into your Coinbase account. Your bank may charge a wire and/or currency conversion fee.

  • International USD wires may take up to 3-4 business days to complete.

  • You can make a maximum of 3 deposits per day with no limit on the amount of USD included.

  • Banks currently NOT supported:

    • CHINA MERCHANTS BANK, HONG KONG BRA

    • BANK OF CHINA (HONG KONG) LIMITED

    • CMB WING LUNG BANK LIMITED

    • COMMONWEALTH BANK OF AUSTRALIA

    • SYGNUM BANK AG

    • AXOS BANK

    • INTERACTIVE BROKER (Swift codes IBKRUS33 and IBKRSGSG)

Deposit USD to your balance on Coinbase.com (web browser)

  1. Sign in to your Coinbase.com account.

  2. Select Assets in the navigation bar.

  3. Select USD from your assets list.

  4. Select Add cash.

  5. Follow the instructions listed to make a deposit using SWIFT then select Ok.

Deposit USD to your balance on Coinbase mobile app

  1. Access the Coinbase mobile app.

  2. Select My assets in the bottom navigation bar.

  3. Select USD from your assets list (you may have to select See all if you have multiple assets).

  4. Select Add cash.

  5. Follow the instructions listed to make a deposit using SWIFT then select Ok.
