There are several types of payment methods that you can link to your Coinbase account, all of which can be found here: Payment methods for US customers.

Bank account
You can link your personal bank account instantly and securely using Instant verification by providing your online banking credentials via Plaid, or manually by using the Deposit verification process.
Note: The name on your bank account must match the verified name on your Coinbase account. If our system doesn’t recognize a match, we’ll put the payment method in review so we can manually check the names for a match. Manual reviews can take up to three business days.
Add your bank account using Instant verification
Go to Payment Methods on web or select Profile & Settings from the main menu on mobile.
Select Add a payment method, then Bank account.
From the Plaid notification window, select Continue.
From the screen with bank logos, select or search for the name of the bank for the account you'd like to link and select Continue.
If your bank isn't listed, you'll need to link your account using the Deposit verification method.
Enter your bank's login credentials.
Additional security questions and a PIN may be required depending on your bank's security procedures.
Add your bank account manually using Deposit verification
Go to Payment Methods on web or select Profile & Settings from the main menu. on mobile.
Select Add a payment method, then Bank account.
When the Plaid notification window opens, select X to close the window.
From the subsequent "unsuccessful" window, select Manually link bank account.
Follow the prompts to enter the account details, including the account and routing numbers, then select the option to verify the account.
Two small test deposits will be made to your bank account, which usually reach your account in 2-3 business days.
Select verify for your bank account on the Payments Method page and enter the "cent" portion of the deposit amounts.
For example, if the amounts on your bank statement are $1.10 and $1.20, enter "10" and "20".
Debit card
Visa and MasterCard debit cards can be used to buy or deposit cash on Coinbase. We're unable to support prepaid cards, credit cards, or other types of cards. In most cases, photo ID verification is required before adding a card.
Link a debit card
Go to Payment Methods on web or select Profile & Settings from the main menu.on mobile.
Select Add a payment method, then Debit card.
Provide your debit card information.
Two small, temporary debits will be applied to your card. These transactions will be reversed; you will not be charged for them.
Go to your card's online banking activity to find the two amounts.
Enter the amounts on Coinbase to complete adding and verifying your card.
GooglePay and Apple Pay
You can purchase crypto through Coinbase using Apple Pay linked to your debit card.
If you already have a Visa or Mastercard debit card linked in your Apple Wallet, Apple Pay will automatically appear as a payment method when you’re buying crypto on an Apple Pay-supported iOS device or a Safari web browser if you’re signed in to your Apple account.
You can purchase crypto through Coinbase using Google Pay linked to your debit card.
If you already have a Visa or Mastercard debit card linked to your Google Wallet, Google Pay will automatically appear as a payment method when you’re buying crypto on a Google Pay-supported Android device or a supported web browser if you’re signed in to your Google account.
PayPal
To link your PayPal account:
Complete all identity document verification steps and confirm that your country of residence is correct.
From your account Settings, select Payment Methods, then Add a Payment Method.
Select PayPal to be prompted to sign in to PayPal.
Bank wire
Verify your wire cash out information
Go to Payment Methods and select Add a payment method > Wire transfer.
Follow the prompts to enter the wire details provided by your bank (this will add your bank account).
Coinbase can only accept wires if:
Your legal name on Coinbase matches the name on the bank wire.
The wire comes from a US-based bank account.
The sending bank account is linked to your Coinbase profile and not linked to another Coinbase account.
The "Reference to Beneficiary" field is left blank unless a unique reference code is needed.
The exact routing information from your Coinbase account is used for the transfer.
Your unique reference code or Coinbase wire account number is included with the wire transaction.
You’ll receive either a virtual account number or a reference code, but not both. If a reference code isn’t provided, use your unique account number. If your bank asks for more details about this transaction, you can mention that you were assigned a "Virtual Account Number (VAN)" to complete the transfer.
The transfer is sent as a bank wire ("FedWire"), overnight or next day ACH are not supported at this time.
Note: There are no wire transaction or cashout minimums, however there is a wire fee ($10 for incoming transfers and $25 for outgoing transfers). You must have completed sufficient account verification to obtain a US dollar balance.
