Can I pause my subscription?

Yes, you can pause your subscription for one month. To initiate a pause, go to the Coinbase One subscriptions page and select Manage Subscription. From there, you'll have the option to pause.

During the pause, you will not be billed for Coinbase One and will still have access to account protection and 24/7 priority support. However, you won't have access to zero trading fees, pre-filled tax form 8949, or partner deals.

You can reactivate or cancel your subscription at any time during the one-month pause. If you do nothing, the subscription will automatically reactivate after the pause period has ended and normal billing will resume.

Can I be reimbursed for previous trading fees?

No, you will not be reimbursed for previous trading fees now that you are a subscribed to Coinbase One.

Why was I still charged a trading fee?

There may be a couple reasons why you are seeing a trading fee:

  • You may have exceeded your trading cap for the month. You can check this in your account settings.

  • Make sure that you are using the Simple Trade feature in Coinbase. Coinbase One fee-free trading is not currently extended to Advanced Trade

    • While Advanced Trade does not include fee free trading, we do provide a 25% fee rebate that gets credited back to your account in USDC.

If neither of the above situations apply to you, please contact us

Why was a spread included in my trade?

Coinbase includes a spread in the price when you buy or sell cryptocurrencies or in the exchange rate when you convert cryptocurrencies. This allows us to temporarily lock in a price for trade execution while you review the transaction details prior to submitting your transaction. Learn more about Coinbase pricing and fees
