Note: TON staking on Coinbase Prime uses a Single Nominator model. Each dedicated validator is permanently tied to one client wallet address. Before you can stake, you must contact your account manager or Prime Operations to request a dedicated validator provisioned for your wallet.
Staking minimum: 2,000,000 TON.
Note: This minimum is enforced by a configurable field and may be adjusted in future to align with the active validator set requirements on the TON network.
Staking maximum: Approximately 3,500,000 TON per validator.
Estimated rewards rate: Reward rates vary. Visit www.stakingrewards.com for current estimated reward rates.
Estimated reward payout: Approximately every 36 hours per election cycle. Rewards may not settle in the specified account for an additional duration depending on network conditions.
Delegator reward compound: Automatic. TON staking rewards auto-compound inside the validator contract. There is no separate claim rewards action. To access your rewards you must unstake your full position.

Contact your account manager or Prime Operations at primeops@coinbase.com to request a dedicated staking validator for your TON wallet. Allow 1–3 business days for setup.
Once your validator is ready, your account manager or Prime Operations will notify you. Your validator address will be pre-populated in the Prime UI when you go to stake.
Navigate to your TON wallet in Coinbase Prime and click Stake.
Review the pre-populated validator contract address in the validator address field and verify it is correct before proceeding.
Click Preview Stake, review the summary and disclaimer, and click Confirm Stake.
Complete consensus approval per your organisation's policy and verify your identity with YubiKey.
After approximately 36 hours your stake becomes active and rewards begin accruing.

Note: There may be a short delay after being notified before the unstake option becomes available in the UI. This is due to on-chain unbonding time while the system recognises your wallet and validator are ready for unstake. After a full unstake your validator contract is decommissioned. If you wish to stake again a new validator must be provisioned — please contact your account manager or Prime Operations to begin that process.

Fees charged when using the following validator types:
Coinbase dedicated validator: 15% of staking rewards earned. This fee is not deducted onchain. Coinbase Prime issues a monthly invoice for 15% of rewards accrued during the billing period.
Non-Coinbase validator: A Custodial Staking Fee of 25 basis points (bps) per year applies on your average daily staked Assets Under Custody (AUC). This fee appears as an External Staking line item on your monthly Custody invoice.

Can I partially stake TON?
Yes. You can stake a partial amount of your TON wallet balance to a single nominator validator. The minimum stake amount is 2,000,000 TON.

Can I partially unstake TON?
No. You must unstake the full amount from a given validator.
Can I stake from multiple wallets to the same validator?
No. Each single nominator validator is permanently linked to exactly one wallet address.
Can I change my validator after staking?
No. The validator is permanently linked to your wallet address at the time of provisioning. To use a different validator you must unstake your full position and request a new validator to be provisioned.
What happens to my rewards if I do not unstake?
Rewards automatically compound inside your staking position. Your pending rewards balance is visible in your Prime wallet view at any time. To access your rewards you must unstake.
How long does staking take to activate?
Approximately 36 hours after your stake is confirmed onchain. Rewards begin accruing after the first full election cycle completes.
