Consensus settings

With Coinbase Prime, you can determine the number of Authorized Signatories/Approvers needed to approve transactions and changes to an account. The greater the number of approvers needed to reach consensus, the greater the security of the account. 

Edit your settings 

1. Click the profile image in the top right corner

2. Click the gear icon to go to your settings page

3. Click the Security tab

This brings up the Security page. Here you can edit your general consensus settings, governance consensus, withdrawal permissions, as well as view your personal and organization information.

Edit your Consensus settings

You can view the current consensus settings including portfolio name, your role within that portfolio, and number of approvals needed. You can also edit consensus settings here. 

1. Click Edit Consensus

2. Select the number of approvers to reach consensus

3. Click Continue

4. Use your YubiKey

5. After you reach consensus for this change, your settings will be updated

Edit your Governance Consensus settings

Determine whether this portfolio requires consensus for voting.

1. Click Edit Voting Consensus

2. Select whether you want voting consensus enabled or disabled

3. Click Continue

4. Use your YubiKey

5. After you reach consensus for this change, your settings will be updated

Edit Withdrawal Permissions

Determine the max withdrawal amount for a single transaction.

1. Click Edit Max Withdrawal

2. Select the max withdrawal amount

3. Click Continue

4. Use your YubiKey

5. After you reach consensus for this change, your settings will be updated
